We find immense peace of mind knowing she is in such a positive environment. Un adorable preescolar guiado con amor y esmero. Mi hija siempre vuelve a casa contándonos su experiencia en clase, contenta de compartir con las maestras y sus compañeros. Este es un lugar que nos brinda paz y tranquilidad.Bianca Meurer-zeman2023-11-14Beautiful place, and great environment particularly because the staff.Jennifer Gale2023-10-07Speaking as a single mother, I couldn’t be more grateful for my son and I to be a part of Golden Aspen. Not only is this a place of growing and learning for us, it has also been like a home full of care and support. Thank you Miss Marta and Miss Anna! You both have made my transition from an “at-home mom” to a “working mama” seamless. Deserving of every “GOLDEN” star!Wilfredo Ramos2023-09-01Super nice Staff, Miss Andreina is a sweetheart and my kids are waiting every morning to go and play . Marta and Anna were incredibly generous with their time in getting to know my son and his needs. There was always creative new art happening and lots of outside time! We are so grateful we found this oasis for our 3 year old. Bilingual is a plus too!Sarah Ryan2023-07-25We are so grateful Golden Aspen was our daughter’s first school experience. They are an excellent preschool, . They teach the whole child, head, heart, and body. Lessons are engaging, focusing on developmentally appropriate foundational skills. From the moment you enter the school, there is an embracing warmth. Marta and Anna make the school feel like home. They are nurturing and tuned into a child’s emotional needs to be sure they feel secure to learn. They support and model healthy peer relationships, allowing preschoolers to move into the next stage of social development in a healthy, caring way. The kids are active playing outside, going on walks in the open space, playing in the water. And mixed into all of that is the exposure to another language. Children this age are so responsive to learning languages and it is a gift to begin learning Spanish from native speakers. We wholeheartedly recommend Golden Aspen!Christine Kindl2023-04-16My grandson has gained so much during his time at Golden Aspen. Kind, caring teachers are helping him develop the academic and social skills he'll need for kindergarten. There's also plenty of time for creative activities and outdoor play. He is thriving there!Patricia Mudoy2023-03-26The setting is inviting and modern with a touch of southwest feeling. All rooms have plenty of natural light and are dutifully equipped with educational, I mean!, playing materials. Anna and Marta bring interesting personal and professional backgrounds to equip the school with a strong program focused on kindergarten readiness. Kindergarten readiness is complex - social, behavior, academic - and different students will need more of one and less of the other. Low teacher-to-student ratio, by design, allows teachers to accommodate for these differences. Golden Aspen is a bilingual cultural immersion! It's quite a gift to be able to learn a new language in such a natural way. Those seeds planted at this early age will come back when they student picks up learning Spanish at a later time. All who have learned a language as adults will appreciate this gift even more. Welcome addition to our community!L. Musgrindl2023-03-18My kiddo loves this school! The teachers are so kind and caring and the kids have healthy snacks and outside play every day. My kid is so proud of the projects he's made and how he helps the teachers, he's really flourishing under their care 💕
Our School
Dedicated Educators
Marta and Anna are sisters originally from Venezuela, a South American country, where they were raised…
“We were born into a multicultural family; mom from Panama and dad from the Czech Republic. Therefore, a culturally diverse and rich environment has always been something completely natural to us.
This multiculturalism due to and encouraged by our parents, helped us develop values such as respect, solidarity, teamwork, and inclusion.
We have lived and traveled to many countries around the world, so bringing an international touch into education is important to us.
Being fluent in both Spanish and English, we want to provide the opportunity for children to learn a second language. We want to offer a place where inclusion and diversity are valued and respect is prioritized.”
Philosophy
Golden Aspen Bilingual ELC is are bilingual center – English/Spanish- that follows a play-based education…
philosophy and much of our program is based on the Reggio Emilia approach to Early Childhood Education. Our classrooms are a mixed-age classroom with children ranging 2,½ to 5 years old. We value quality time with each child and believe that it’s important to balance socialization and time to play by themselves with group and individual attention. We know that parents want the very best for their children and we have been aware how hard it can be to satisfy this need for parents, between the demands of their work and family life.
We are here to offer parents peace of mind by giving their children safe, nurturing care and providing age appropriate learning activities by using the Colorado Department of Education’s Early Learning and Development Guidelines as well as the children’s individual needs and interests.
